The working principle of a chiller is based on the refrigeration cycle, a process that absorbs heat and removes it by circulating refrigerant. The refrigeration cycle usually consists of four main components: compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator. Refrigerant circulates between these components to achieve the cooling effect. First, the refrigerant is compressed into a high-pressure gas through the compressor, and then cooled through the condenser and turned into a high-pressure liquid. Next, the high-pressure liquid enters the evaporator through the expansion valve, becomes low-pressure liquid and absorbs heat. Then, the low-pressure liquid is compressed into high-pressure gas again through the compressor, completing the refrigeration cycle.
